Ben Herson is an award-winning brand strategist, partnerships director and editorial producer with over a decade of experience developing best-in-class strategic content partnerships for globally renowned networks, digital properties, and brands.

For the past three years, Herson has been embedded with Great Big Story’s sales, editorial, and marketing teams leading the creative direction on sponsored-editorial and branded campaigns. Between 2016 and 2018, he helped to drive millions in revenue, earn 20+ awards and accolades (including a Cannes Lion award and 2 Emmy nominations) and created partnership opportunities that led to contracts with esteemed brands and network partners including P&G, MillerCoors, Intel, NBC Sports, and Comcast.

Before joining Great Big Story, Herson served as a Senior Producer and Director at Viacom (MTV World) where he led the creative direction of editorial series and interactive media hiring and managing teams of 50+ writers, directors, producers, and editors, through all stages of production. His responsibilities extended to the creative direction of brand sponsored proposals for prospective MTV World clients.

In his spare time, he likes to cook global cuisine, practice Thai boxing and occasionally get behind the drums and play with his 17 piece disco band.
